The 24-min documentary was awarded a SILVER at the 2012 Hugo Television Awards, Chicago and another at the Indian Documentary Producers Award in Mumbai. It was also nominated for best documentary at TIFVA (The Toronto International Film and Video Awards) and was one of the winners of the ONE CLOUD online Festival.
