In an increasingly competitive media market, there is strong need amongst broadcasters to stand apart with distinctive brand identities. This showreel comprises broadcast design work that has been conceptualized, designed and executed by us, in-house.
For Star-Majha (the Star-Marathi channel) we devised an identity that was derived from the Warli tribal paintings of Maharashtra. This lent the channel a strong native element that celebrated its regional character. The glossy execution on the other hand, provided it an up-market, international look.
We also designed the complete on-air look for Voice of India using their symbol – the lion – as the cornerstone of the property. This was incorporated in all the significant idents and built-into the key channel properties like the Headlines & Breaking News to heighten brand awareness. The outcome was a strong graphic-package with high recall.
Working across continents, we have collaborated with Pop-Up TV, Chile to execute on-air idents for four different channels in Venezuela. Working closely with their Atlanta-based Art Director, we have delivered work that has matched global standards.
